Latest travel restrictions to Iran have been announced.

According to new instructions issued by the Ministry of Tourism and Health and the airlines, passengers who have been vaccinated are now exempted from presenting a negative covid-19 PCR test certificate upon arrival in Iran.

According to ISNA, conditions have been eased for Iranian passengers entering the country following the announcement of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education with the aim of increasing preventive measures and avoiding the spread of covid-19 in the country. According to the announcement, notified to tourism and airline companies on March 16, 2014, all passengers over 12 years of age must present a valid certificate of two doses of vaccination (digital vaccination card) 14 days after the last injection.

The response to the PCR test and the vaccination card must be in English and have a QR code.

Admission of passengers of foreign nationality is only possible upon presentation of vaccination card in accordance with the announced conditions.

The procedure for accepting travelers with vaccination cards is replacing the PCR test in many countries. However, some countries, EU Member States among them, still have restrictions on the brand of vaccine that travelers take, and despite the recommendation of international organizations, including the World Health Organization and the European Union, few vaccines are confirmed (Pfizer / Moderna / AstraZeneca / Johnson).

Hygienic protocols must be respected throughout the course.
