Agriculture and livestock are the main occupations due to the abundance of water and fertile land in the area, which makes it possible to grow a type of grape. In fact, Shahrud’s raisins are among the best in Iran. This spring has always been the center of interest for the inhabitants of the region for the beauty of its colors: blue, turquoise, orange, mercury and brown, and for its health benefits.
